Lincoln Electric Terms and Conditions
Sales Professional Enrollment: Each eligible distributor sales representative (“Representative”) must enroll in the Lincoln Performance Rewards program through the Web site www.mylincolnelectric.com. Each enrolled Representative will be responsible to maintain the confidentiality of their respective usernames and passwords. The enrollment and other information provided is true and complete and the Representative has made no misrepresentation with respect to such information.
Program Eligibility: Each enrolled Representative will earn reward points only for the retail sales of qualifying Lincoln Electric products made by said Representative. All qualifying sales must be made after February 1, 2010 and must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the date of sale. Points are non-transferable and may not be claimed on behalf of another Representative's sale. Lincoln Electric qualifying products and their respective reward point value are subject to change without prior notice. If the Representative or Lincoln Electric closes the Representative’s Lincoln Performance Rewards account or if the Representative is no longer employed by the same employer at the time such Representative enrolled in the Lincoln Performance Rewards program, then all reward points earned by the Representative will be forever forfeited even if the Representative’s Lincoln Performance Rewards account is later reopened or the Representative re-enrolls in the Lincoln Performance Rewards program with the same or different employer.
Payment of Incentives: Reward points earned during this program have no cash value and must be redeemed online for a variety of prizes not later than sixty (60) days after the completion of the program. Reward points are non-transferable. Redeemed rewards will be mailed to enrolled Representative at the address listed in the Representative’s profile on this Web Site within six (6) weeks after the online redemption. Any claim regarding redeemed rewards discrepancies must be made in writing no later than three (3) months after the completion of the program.
Accounts Activity Accounts which have not logged onto the Lincoln Performance Rewards program for more than 6 months will be placed into an 'Inactive' status. Accounts which have not logged onto the program for more than 12 months will automatically be 'Locked'. With a locked account, users will not be able to log in and utilize the website.
A total of two (2) email notifications will be sent to the email address on the account to inform users about their account inactivity. The first will be sent after 6 months of inactivity in the site and the second mailer will be sent after 11 months of inactivity, informing the participant that their account is scheduled to be locked in 30 days.
Taxes: The funds/rewards received as a result of the Lincoln Performance Rewards program could have a federal, state and/or local tax consequence. Please consult a tax advisor with any questions regarding these payments. Lincoln Electric will report to the IRS all cumulative amounts earned over $600 for the calendar year and issue a 1099 to the participant. Regardless, the payment of any applicable taxes resulting from participation in this program is the sole responsibility of the enrolled Representative.
Changes: Lincoln Electric reserves the right, without prior notice, to discontinue or change the program at any time. This includes but is not limited to qualifying sales, rewards and reward values. Lincoln Electric reserves the right to disqualify any Representative from participating in the Lincoln Performance Rewards program and to invalidate all reward points for abuse, fraud or any violation of these terms and conditions, at Lincoln Electric’s sole discretion.
